Mr. Good, Founder of LSG Engineering, Inc., has over thirty-five years of experience in the practice of consulting mechanical engineering. Lee has an extensive knowledge of HVAC and plumbing engineering in several settings such as industrial, education, transportation, offices, medical facilities, restaurants and retail establishments. Lee has an articulate memory that furnishes much experience to our customers. Mr. Good is currently responsible for consultations, preparing proposals, projecting scopes of work and developing our financial assessments.

Mr. Good is a licensed professional engineer by boards of registration in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

Mr. Good holds a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.



Terry Budd

Terrence W. Budd, P.E., LEED AP
President - Principal Engineer

Mr. Budd, President of LSG Engineering, Inc., has more than twenty years of working experience in the practice of mechanical engineering. He is currently responsible for training and continual development of mechanical engineering staff, preparing proposals, project scopes of work and developing engineering and construction budgets, creating plant and equipment layouts, writing of technical equipment and material specifications, preparation of building heating and cooling load calculations, design of Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, design of plumbing and process piping systems, code research and interpretation, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating, and quality assurance.

Mr. Budd is a licensed professional engineer by boards of registration in Ohio, Arizona, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Mr. Budd holds a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Akron.



Terry Budd

Benjamin Seeley, LEED AP
Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Seeley, Senior Mechanical Engineer at LSG Engineering, Inc., has more than fifteen years of working experience in the building engineering field. His experience provides a broad range of expertise including mechanical and plumbing engineering consulting, equipment sales and engineering, and energy consulting for the public utilities. Mr. Seeley’s experience with an array of mechanical system designs as well as his experience with chilled and heating water plants and building simulations make him an integral part of our team.

Mr. Seeley holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Akron.



Robert Huart

Mr. Huart, Senior Designer at LSG Engineering, Inc., has over thirty-five years of working experience in the practice of mechanical design. Roberts many designs on commercial projects range from Industrial plants, schools, medical facilities, retail shops and office buildings. Designs have included ground source heat pump systems, variable refrigerant flow systems, VAV systems, heating and chilled water systems, radiant flow systems to single zone rooftop units and furnace systems. Mr. Huart’s ability to design our HVAC mechanical drawings both in CAD and Revit formats shows his enormous talents and is an asset to our customers.

Mr. Huart has attended Kent State University, Carrier Corporation-HVAC Design Training Course as well as various company seminars on equipment, design & application.



David Ball

David Ball
Mechanical Designer

Mr. Ball, designer at LSG Engineering, Inc., has over thirty-five years of working experience in the practice of mechanical design. David specializes in plumbing engineering design. As a lead draftsman, his principal responsibilities include: coordination of drafting staff, design, checking final construction documents and office supply coordination. His design experience includes Commercial, Industrial, Health Care and Institutional projects. Mr. Ball is astute in the plan of mechanically engineered drawings and has been a continued asset to our customers.

Mr. Ball holds an Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute



Blaine Lott

Blaine Lott
Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Lott, Engineer at LSG Engineering, Inc., has over four years of working experience in the practice of mechanical design starting as a Co-Op Engineer while still in school and joining us full time upon graduation. Blaine has designed and assisted in the design of many mechanical and plumbing systems for industrial plants, schools, retail shops, commercial properties, and office buildings. Designs have included VAV systems, heating and chilled water systems, heat pump systems, and various other types of HVAC systems. He has experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Trane Trace. Blaine has his Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the state of Ohio as he works towards hisProfessional Engineer.

Mr. Lott holds a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron.



Matt Kolesar

Matt Kolesar
Mechanical Designer

Mr. Kolesar, designer at LSG Engineering, Inc., has over fifteen years of working experience in the MEP field. Matthew specializes in plumbing engineering design and has experience in preparation of construction drawings, involving both new structures and renovations. Matthew’s many designs include schools, medical facilities and office buildings using both AutoCAD and Revit software. He has also worked alongside contractors site in the coordination between various trades regarding the installation of systems and equipment.

Mr. Kolesar holds an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from ITT as well as AutoCAD Certification.



Cindy Murphy

Cindy Murphy
Mechanical Designer

Ms. Murphy has over 30 years of working experience in the practice of mechanical design. She has experience with the design of educational, office, retail, healthcare, industrial and water/wastewater treatment facilities. Cindy has designed a wide variety of systems during her career which include heating and chilled water plants, water source heat pump systems, VAV rooftop systems, radiant floor, and variable refrigerant flow. Ms. Murphy has experience using both Trane Trace and Carrier Hap load calculation software to assist with system design.

Ms. Murphy is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.

Ms. Murphy holds an Associates Degree of Mechanical Engineering from North Central State College.
